Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how DramaWallet ("the App") handles information when you use the App. DramaWallet is an offline-first expense tracking app designed to help you record income, expenses, categories, notes, tags, settings, PIN lock settings, and local backup files.

DramaWallet does not operate a cloud account system, and we do not run our own server to collect your transaction records.

Information Stored on Your Device

DramaWallet stores app data locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or transfer it outside the App. This may include:

  • Transactions, including income, expenses, amounts, categories, dates, notes, and tags.
  • Custom categories, colors, and icons.
  • App settings, including language, theme, personality tone, background opacity, and blur level.
  • A background image selected by you from your device.
  • PIN lock data. DramaWallet stores a PIN hash and salt, not the plain PIN.
  • Encrypted database backup files and transaction export files created by you.

Device Features and Permissions

DramaWallet may use device features only when they are needed for features you choose to use:

  • Photos or files, when you choose a background image or select a backup file to import. DramaWallet only uses the file you select.
  • Biometrics, when you enable biometric unlock. Biometric verification is handled by the operating system, and DramaWallet does not receive or store biometric templates such as face or fingerprint data.
  • Local storage, to save app data offline and create import/export files.

Advertising and Third-Party Services

DramaWallet uses Google AdMob to show ads in some parts of the App. Google AdMob and its partners may collect or use device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, app activity related to ads, crash or diagnostic data, and similar information to provide, limit, measure, and improve ads, including personalized ads where permitted by your device settings and applicable law.

How We Use Information

DramaWallet uses locally stored app data to:

  • Save and display your income and expense records.
  • Generate charts, summaries, insights, and feedback messages.
  • Apply your theme, language, background, security, and notification preferences.
  • Import, export, and restore data when you choose to do so.
  • Protect local access to the App using PIN and optional biometric unlock.
  • Show and measure ads through Google AdMob.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your transaction records. DramaWallet does not share your local transaction database with us because we do not operate a DramaWallet cloud service.

Information may be shared only in these cases:

  • You choose to export, share, or back up a file outside the App.
  • You import a file that you selected from your device.
  • Google AdMob may collect and process advertising-related data as described above.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your app data remains on your device until you delete it, import replacement data, clear app storage, uninstall the App, or delete exported files yourself.

Because DramaWallet is offline-first and does not maintain a cloud account for you, deleting the App or clearing its local storage removes the local data controlled by DramaWallet on that device.

To delete exported CSV, Excel, or backup files, delete those files from the location where you saved or shared them.

Security

DramaWallet uses local encrypted storage for app data where supported by the platform. The App stores PIN credentials as a salted hash rather than storing the plain PIN. Exported database backups are encrypted by the App.

Please keep exported files safe. If you share or store them in another app or cloud service, that service's privacy practices will apply.

Children's Privacy

DramaWallet is a personal finance utility and is not directed to children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review the issue.

International Users

Your locally stored app data stays on your device. Advertising-related data may be processed by Google and its partners in various countries according to their policies and applicable law.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
